An escalation league is a league that starts with small armies and skirmishes and grows throughout the league. This league is designed for new players to develop their skill and love of the game and the hobby. Players will initially only be allowed to use the components of the new starter sets, giving everyone an equal footing on the units available to them. Players score points for winning, losing, and painting units or terrain.
The league will last for 3 months. In the first month, players must play armies with 350-600 points and must follow the Recon Rules for the game. IF players play with fewer than 600 points, they will only be required to bring one corps unit instead of the normally-required-2 corps units. In the second month, Players must play with 600-800 point armies, sticking with the Recon rules. Finally, in the last month, players must play with 1000 point armies.
There will be no set schedule or matchups for the league. Games must be played at the Guilded Grayland. It is the player’s responsibility to agree on a point limit for their battle prior to arrival. After signing up, make sure to hop in our discord and signup at the longshanks event (longshanks is what is used to report game results). You can find both of those linked at: https://linktr.ee/jerrysgameshopok
There will be 3 awards at the end of the league. Champion (points winner), Best Painted army (core set units), and most improved player (community nominated). Prizes will be store credit, trophies, and alt art cards.
