DESCRIPTION:It is December 12th, 1620, and the Mayflower is anchored off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Tensions are high as the people on board fight and grumble; they barely survived the two months at sea, and now they are desperate to set foot on land. These people are the Saints, or those seeking relief from religious persecution in England, and the Strangers, those simply seeking to start a new life in the New World. Three times Myles Standish led a group of men onshore to explore the cape, and his third excursion has just returned, only to find that one of the Saints, Dorothy Bradford, is dead. Dorothy slipped on the icy half deck and fell overboard, drowning in the sea. But some say it was not an accident—some say she was pushed.
